Quotes:
"It's been delightful having you at Hong
Kong International school's Lower Primary these two days! Children's
faces tell the story. They are excited about pink dolphins and taking
care of the earth. Because of this excitement they will share the
story with family and friends."
- Louise Schini Weber.
Lower Primary Assistant Principal. Hong Kong International School.
"A writer called Gavin Coates visited
our school. He told us he had written the book himself and he read
it very well! I wanted to talk to him and say "thank you for
reading so well. I really enjoyed it. But I was shy and couldn't
talk to him. And he's very, very tall! I wanted to ask him a question:
"Why do you like the pink dolphins?" But he didn't look
at me. I want to buy the book, but I haven't got any money. I want
to read very well like him and I will look for his books at the
shops. I like the dolphin story, "We must save the dolphins." he told us. I want to see a pink dolphin and love it because the
pink dolphin is our friend. I hope pink dolphins will be happy in
the near future."
- Letter by Danny Jang Hyn Seok, a Form Three pupil at the
Korean International School (Young Post, 23rd December 1996).
